Based on the different elements contained in aluminum plate, it can be roughly divided into 8 series, that is, grades. Here we focus on introducing several of the more commonly used ones.

1000 series aluminum plate is also called pure aluminum plate, with a purity of more than 99.00%.  It has the highest aluminum content among all series and is also the most commonly used series in conventional industries, and the price is relatively cheap. Representative grades: 1100 (Al≥99%), 1050 (Al≥99.5%), 1060 (Al≥99.6%).

3000 series aluminum sheet can also be called anti-rust aluminum sheet, with manganese as the main component, the content is between 1.0-1.5%, and is often used in humid environments such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and car bottoms. It is a commonly used alloy series. Representative grades: 3003, 3004.

5000 series aluminum plate is also a commonly used alloy aluminum plate series.  The main element is magnesium, with a content of 3-5%. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. The weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than other series under the same area, so it is often used in aviation, such as aircraft fuel tanks. Representative grades: 5005, 5052.

6000 series aluminum sheet mainly contains magnesium and silicon, so it combines the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series. It is suitable for applications with high requirements for corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. This grade is the most widely used industrial and architectural profiles on the market, and also has the largest consumption. Representative grade: 6061.

7000 series aluminum plate, like 2000 series, belongs to the aviation series. It mainly contains zinc and is an aluminum-magnesium-zinc-copper alloy. It is characterized by high strength and hardness, excellent corrosion resistance and processing performance. Representative grade: 7075.
