Description
Factory direct fluorocarbon pre-painted aluminum coils in RAL colors with ASTM-grade outdoor durability. MESCO PVDF color coated aluminum coil is a continuous coil-coated aluminum sheet using a fluorocarbon (PVDF) resin topcoat over a corrosion-resistant primer. The PVDF top coat provides outstanding color retention, chalk resistance, and weather durability for outdoor architectural applications such as roofing, cladding, curtain walls, and composite panels. The aluminum substrate (alloys AA1050, AA1060, AA3003, AA3004, AA5052) is cleaned, chemically pre-treated, primed, and then coated with a PVDF topcoat on the front side and a protective back coat on the reverse. Coils are produced on a continuous coil coating line, then cured in a precision-controlled oven. PVDF top coat passes 2000 h OUVA-340 UV aging and 1000 h salt spray. Color stability under extreme sun, coastal, and industrial atmospheres. Chalking grade ≤ 1 after 2000 h ASTM G154 cycle. Long-term gloss retention for architectural facades and roofing. 1T T-bend and 9 J reverse impact ratings allow bending, roll-forming, stamping, and profiling without paint peel or cracking. Wide RAL color range plus custom matching. Small MOQ for special colors. Substrate alloy and temper selectable per project. Aluminum substrate weighs about one-third of equivalent steel. 100 percent recyclable with no loss of properties. 3000 tons monthly capacity. Slitting, cut-to-length, and protective film services available on the same line. Non-condensing humidity chamber 1000 h. No blistering, cracking, peeling, color change, gloss change, or hardness change. 5 percent HCl 24 h and 5 percent NaOH 24 h. No visible change to coating appearance. 100 deg C boiling water 2 h. No gloss loss, discoloration, cracking, blistering, or peeling observed. 1000 h ASTM B117. Blister grade below 2-S3. Chalking grade not lower than 8 by ASTM D4214 evaluation. OUVA-340 fluorescent UV lamp 2000 light hours. Chalking grade ≤ 1. No blister, cracking, or other defects. RAL color matching plus custom samples. Weather-resistant colors may be substituted with similar shades for durability. Incoming aluminum coils verified for alloy grade, temper, thickness tolerance, and surface quality before release. Alkaline degreasing, water rinse, and chrome-free conversion coating for paint adhesion and corrosion resistance. 5 micron corrosion-resistant primer applied by precision reverse roller coater on both sides. 20 to 22 micron PVDF top coat applied continuously. Controlled viscosity ensures smooth uniform finish. Multi-zone curing oven with precise peak metal temperature control guarantees full cross-linking of the coating. Cut to requested width, cut-to-length, protective film applied, and packed in seaworthy export packaging. Standing seam roofing, trapezoidal sheets, and tile-press profiles for warehouses, stadiums, and airports. Composite panels and cassette cladding systems for high-rise commercial and cultural buildings. Top skin of aluminum composite panels (ACP) for facade decoration and signage back panels. Linear ceilings, baffles, and decorative panels for airports, malls, and transit stations. Light boxes, outdoor billboards, and signage requiring long outdoor color retention. Pre-painted aluminum gutters, downspouts, and roof edge trims for residential projects. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a fluorocarbon resin offering superior UV and weather resistance, ideal for outdoor facades with 15 to 20 year color retention. PE (polyester) is more economical and used for indoor or short term outdoor applications. MESCO recommends PVDF for projects requiring long-term color stability and warranty. AA3003 and AA3004 are the most common alloys for roofing and cladding thanks to their balanced strength and formability. AA5052 is recommended for marine or highly corrosive environments. AA1050 / AA1060 suit decorative and ceiling use where deep drawing is required. Standard coil thickness ranges from 0.18 mm to 1.5 mm, with coil widths up to 1800 mm.
