First comes hot rolled steel. In China, the specifications of ready stock of hot rolled steel coil are as follows:
1.Thickness: 0.9-16mm; Coil thicknesses below 12mm are more common.
And 0.9-1.5mm stock coils appear more frequently than before.
2.Width: mainly 1500mm; 1250/2000mm also have but not much;
3.Grade: Q235 and Q355 both available;
4.Coil weight 14-30 tons;
5.Inner diameter: 760mm.
For hot rolled steel sheet stock, mostly 10-40mm, 60-80mm also have, but not much, width 2000mm commonly, sometimes 2200mm; grades are the same with coil; length can cut to sizes.
Except Q235 and Q355, grade 65Mn (spring steel) is also quite popular in both coil form and sheet form.
There are also hot rolled pickled steel coil stock in the market.
1.Thickness: 1.5-10mm; mostly below 0.6mm are more common.
2.Width: 1250/1500mm both popular; 1000/1200mm are less, sometimes there are irregular widths available.
Other specifications are similar to that of hot rolled steel coil.
