Description
One sourcing point for thirteen high-nickel grades. From sour-service oilfield to 982 °C gas-turbine exhaust, MESCO supplies Inconel, Incoloy, Monel, Hastelloy and Fe-Ni alloys to ASTM, ASME, EN and DIN specifications with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates and project-engineering support. Nickel base alloys are metallic materials in which nickel — typically 30 % to 76 % by composition — forms the primary metallic matrix. The nickel lattice carries chromium, molybdenum, iron, copper, titanium, aluminium and niobium additions that together resist heat, creep, pitting, chloride stress-corrosion cracking and reducing-acid attack. Where pure stainless steel cannot survive in many refinery, marine, sour-service, nuclear and gas-turbine environments, engineers select nickel-base alloys for the most demanding service conditions in modern process plants. Five commercial families dominate the export trade: Each family is engineered for a different dominant service. The matrix below summarises the trade-off a buyer must weigh when sourcing nickel alloy against stainless steel or carbon steel. The table below lists standard specifications and reference mechanical / temperature limits for the thirteen grades we ship from stock or mill. Mechanical values are typical reference figures; final acceptance shall be against the specification in your purchase order. MESCO delivers nickel base alloys in eight standard forms. Dimensional tolerances follow the ASTM / ASME specification listed against each form. Custom sizes outside of the standard range are quoted against your drawing. Nickel base alloys are sold into environments where ordinary stainless steel cannot survive. Below are the six service windows our export orders feed most often. Every shipment from MESCO’s nickel-alloy programme is supported by a full traceability dossier. The list below documents what arrives in the document packet when a buyer takes delivery. MOQ is negotiable. As a practical guideline, plate / sheet items typically start at 50–200 kg, pipe / tube at 50–500 kg, bar at 100–500 kg. Stock lots can be split; mill orders follow minimum mill run quantities. Confirm with our sales team against your grade, form and quantity. Ex-stock items ship within seven days of PO. Mill orders for plate and sheet typically run four to six weeks; pipe and bar four to eight weeks; forgings and fittings eight to ten weeks. Final lead time is confirmed against the mill schedule at quotation. Yes. Every nickel-alloy heat is subjected to XRF PMI on the floor before shipment, and the result is recorded against the mill certificate. Witnessed PMI by third-party inspector is available on request. Inconel 625, Hastelloy C-276, Incoloy 825 and Monel K-500 are commonly delivered in NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 sour-service condition. We document the limit (e.g. H2S partial pressure, temperature, chloride) in the mill certificate. Final acceptance is the buyer’s responsibility against their project specification. Standard documents include commercial invoice, packing list, EN 10204 3.1 MTC, certificate of origin, fumigation certificate, and insurance policy. Third-party inspection certificates (TÜV, SGS, BV, DNV) and consular legalisation are available on request. MESCO warrants that the material supplied conforms to the specification in the purchase order, supported by the mill certificate. Warranty period, claims procedure and limitation of liability are set out in our standard sales terms. Send us your grade, product form, dimensions, quantity and end-service condition. Our engineering desk replies within one working day with a complete commercial offer and the relevant mill data sheet.Nickel Base Alloys — Inconel, Incoloy, Monel & Hastelloy Plate, Pipe, Bar & Tube
